Imagine what B'burg would be without VT

My dad graduated in 1960. He's always talked about what Blacksburg was like in not great terms. A couple years ago my son and I were researching the history of Blacksburg for a Cub Scout deal, and I found a graph that said the population of Blacksburg in 1960 was 6000. VPI was a very small school then, and you can imagine Blacksburg being less than 6000 people if the school did not grow like it did.
